Christchurch ‘Cardboard’ Transitional Cathedral
We were excited to be a part of the iconic Christchurch Transitional ‘Cardboard’ Cathedral, and proud to be managing the supply and install of all structural steelwork. We’re also working closely with Naylor Love the Principal Contractor, and are using Steelpencil for our structural detailing services.
Z Energy – Linwood
In June 2012 heavy snow fell in Canterbury causing damage the Linwood Z Energy canopy.
Our site team worked 7 day weeks in order to remove the canopy, carry out strengthening and repairs and then put it back up again in minimal time.

Kirk Roberts – Consulting Engineers – Barbadoes Street
When leading engineers, Kirk Roberts Consulting Engineers, needed structural steel for their own office building, they came to Eastcoast Steelwork.
The Barbadoes Street building was designed to the new building code, allowing for additional structural earthquake resistance.
The building was commisioned by The Right Honourable Prime Minister John Key, in a ceremony on 27th April 2012.
